Austin Action Fest & Market returns August 14–16, 2026, delivering three action-packed days where independent action cinema, live entertainment, and professional film industry education collide. More than just a film festival, Austin Action Fest is a gathering place for filmmakers, actors, stunt performers, fight choreographers, producers, distributors, and passionate fans from across the country. Attendees will experience world and Texas premiere action films, filmmaker Q&A sessions, celebrity appearances, red carpet events, networking mixers, after-parties, and a lineup of industry panels led by accomplished directors, producers, stunt coordinators, casting professionals, distributors, visual effects artists, and action performers. Featured guests include a screening and q&a producer/actor Jason Narvy from Power Rangers and, actor/filmmakers Russ, and a talk moderated by producer Laura Perez with leading independent film distributors Linda Nelson and Michael Madison of Indie Rights, with real-world insights on filmmaking, distribution and performance. Whether you're looking to discover the next breakout action film, gain behind-the-scenes knowledge from industry veterans, or make connections that could shape your next project, Austin Action Fest offers an experience unlike any other in Texas. For those ready to step into the action, the Texas Stunt Intensive provides an immersive, hands-on training experience led by experienced stunt professionals working in film and television. Participants can sharpen their skills in cinematic fight choreography, falls, weapons handling, martial arts, tactical movement, wire work, and on-set performance while learning the safety standards and professionalism required for today's action industry. There are two levels, both basic and advanced, of intensive that you can choose from. Beyond the training, attendees have the rare opportunity to network directly with filmmakers, distributors, producers, speakers, and fellow performers throughout the weekend.
