Kittypalooza Tour 2026 is a multi-date event showcasing cats & kittens who arrive at animal shelters during kitten season, an annual occurrence when we see a massive increase in local cat populations, driving up the need for adopters, fosters. and volunteers.At Austin Public Library's Central Library, we're hosting a cat and kitten themed extravaganza featuring adoptable cats, cat-themed crafts, and more for a family-friendly event filled with feline fun. This event is facilitated help from Austin Animal Services.Please note: Guests will be admitted into the cat area on a first-come, first-serve basis. When you arrive, please visit the check-in table to claim your entry ticket. We cannot guarantee that everyone will get a ticket.For kitten health and safety, we are only allowing distanced play and not hands-on interaction. If you are interested in adopting, we can facilitate an interaction upon request. Adoption fees are waived for cats/kittens at this event only. All kittens attending have been fixed and have had all age-appropriate vaccines.
