Beginner Birding Walk & Talk

Saturday, October 24 at 9 AM

at Twin Oaks Branch

If you've ever wanted to learn more about local birds and how to identify them, now is your chance! Learn the basics of bird watching (aka birding) and go on a casual bird walk with birders from Travis Audubon, Austin's oldest conservation organization. Hundreds of species of birds are found in Austin, so birding can be a fun and rewarding hobby without having to leave the city. With fall migration underway and forested parks nearby, we may spot some very interesting birds!Bird field guides and binoculars will be provided. Walk will be at a slow and comfortable pace.Keep in mind this program begins before the Library opens. Please wait outside the front doors for the group to begin their walk.
